Augsburg, October 1, 2024 – Fast Drying Even Under Unfavorable Climatic Conditions
THOMSIT is launching its new generation of levelling compounds, which stand out due to their innovative formulations offering fast curing and crack-free results. Even under unfavorable climatic conditions, the new compounds dry quickly and reliably.
Modern, sustainable binders and special additives ensure that the latest generation of THOMSIT leveling compounds provide fast curing and a secure work progress. Contractors also benefit from crack-free results due to the stress-free combination of the individual components – even under unfavorable climatic conditions such as high humidity or low temperatures.
THOMSIT XF 700 and THOMSIT XF 500 are premium levelling compounds for different layer thicknesses, suitable for highly stressed industrial areas, under parquet, and under Sika coatings.
- THOMSIT XF 700: for layer thicknesses of 3 to 70 mm, ready for covering in 24 hours up to 50 mm
- THOMSIT XF 500: for layer thicknesses up to 30 mm, ready for covering in 12 hours up to 20 mm.
The floor levelling compound THOMSIT XF 300 is suitable for layer thicknesses up to 15 mm and for use under parquet, ready for covering in 24 hours up to 10 mm.
For commercial applications, THOMSIT XE 400 has been developed. This thick-layer levelling compound for layer thicknesses of 3 to 40 mm is both easy and safe to process and is particularly ideal for thin-layer underfloor heating systems during renovations.
Like most of THOMSIT's products, the new leveling compounds have been awarded the EC1 Plus seal for very low emissions, contributing to both indoor air quality and environmental sustainability. Additionally, the XF levelling compounds are certified with the Blue Angel environmental label.
“Our new THOMSIT levelling compounds are packed with innovations that bring benefits to contractors on the job site,” comments Sven Dornhege, Head of Marketing for Paints and Floor Coverings Wholesale at Sika’s Construction Trade Division. “They guarantee fast, secure work progress, make the job easier, and ensure excellent floor results.”
