Floor construction with conductive PVC coverings can lead to claims if the copper grid shows through the covering and the fixation points with the substrate are broken at grid intersection points. Using the fluid Thomsit R 762 Conductive Base Coat and the ‘added’ assurance offered by the integrated components of Thomsit Anti Static Conductive System guarantees reclamation-free floor laying. Instead of laying a cumbersome and expensive copper grid to achieve the required transverse conductivity, Thomsit R 762 safely dissipates static electrical charge, requiring only a single 1 m copper strip for an area of 30 m2.
Substrate preparation
Apply Thomsit DX Universal Levelling Compound onto the primed screed.
Conductive layer
Simply roll on Thomsit R 762 Conductive Base Coat.
Bonding coverings
Use electrically conductive Thomsit K112 Special Conductive PVC Adhesive.
