Instead of using cumbersome and costly copper grids, Thomsit R 762 Conductive Base Coat takes on the conductive function under conductive textile coverings. A proven, aesthetic, problem-free and, above all, cost-saving method. Reducing the use of conductive components in the system drastically cuts both material and time costs.
Precondition: a ready for laying substrate. Conductivity of the complete system prevents static charging on people of more than 2 KV.
Substrate preparation
Level off the primed screed with Thomsit DX Universal Levelling Compound. Produce a transverse conductive layer with Thomsit R 762 Conductive Base Coat and install 1 meter copper strip for every 30 m2. Simply roll it on.
Bonding coverings
Bond electrically conductive textile coverings with Thomsit T 412 Aquatack® Conductive Carpet and Linoleum Adhesive.
